Our Purpose.....

The Long Island Institute of Professional Studies has been providing interesting and meaningful course offerings for teachers, administrators and athletic coaches on Long Island for the past twenty six years. We pride ourselves on our personal approach and have formed partnerships with leading institutions on Long Island in order to provide unparalleled access to area educators for both in-service and graduate level courses. We are proud to serve you. Our in-service and Brooklyn College graduate course offerings may be approved by local school districts for credit on district salary schedules.

Want to walk on to a course? You can register on-site the first day of each class..

We have locations in both in Hicksville and Smithtown. Courses are available for in-service or Brooklyn College graduate credit. We offer in-person, hybrid and on-line instruction..

Many new courses just added including The Fragile Child, Enhancing Your Classroom Through Literature

and Assisting Students with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome.
